I met Rowena through meditating with the Awakening Network, set up by Ken and Elizabeth Mellor. I spent many meditation workshops in her lovely company, in particular at Trigonos in Wales where we would go for a week of silence annually every October. It is an amazing way to get to know someone's spirit and being in silence. In addition I did have the opportunity to talk and laugh with Rowena as she was my 'buddy' at the end of the silent workshops.  This meant that we would keep in touch during the year in between. One of Rowena's many wonderful characteristics was her quiet determination to create something beautiful and lasting. This I know and saw in her paintings. She also created two beautiful lasting records of the Trigonos workshops in a calendar in 2019 an a workbook last year. I will miss her love and kindness which was so deep and true within her whole being.
